Panta on the Web

Getting the website up and running has been on the priority list since the last show at the Cedar Hill Arts Centre, though with everything that still required to be done in preparation for the Christmas season, it always somehow ended up getting set aside. Maybe it was as I still wasn't sure who to register the domain with, and then who to host the site with. For that matter, I still wasn't sure what made for a good web host and what to avoid. After the last sale, had four more loads to fire in the kiln, get the house ready, pack the ceramics and head up to visit with the family in the interior of BC. That also meant I would be away from my studio and would hopefully have more time to further pursue looking into suitable web hosts, checking out pricing, comparing features, etc. If you're reading this, you've already guessed that part got done. And you're right - after what felt like endless reviews, many nudges from the hound to give it up - I finally settled on what I hope to be a provider that I can stay and be happy with for some time to come. After two days of sitting at the computer from morning until late into the night, the site is ready and it is up. Still have the shop part to complete, but that will have to wait until I am back to the island.

I did manage to break for a bit today and leave you with a couple of pictures of the joy and contentment from out short jaunt outside. Until next time, Louise
